:: hints from the book of uberGeek

If your using windows, there are alot of quick commands that are, for the most part, undocumented. Try holding down the 'windows' key and press each key on your keyboard (while still holding down the windows key). You'll be surprised how many common tasks can be taken care of in a heartbeat. 'windows' key plus 'pause break' will bring up your system tabs typically accessed via the control panel.. if your a slow wannabe! Impress your friends and pic up chicks which your ultra cool geek style karate.

Here's a couple of other useful shortcuts that I use all the time. These will also work in pretty much any program

'Ctrl' + 'z' = undo (most stupid things can be fixed with this including undeleting files)
'Ctrl' + 'x' = cut
'Ctrl' + 'c' = copy
'Ctrl' + 'v' = paste

Obviously the 'Ctrl' key has alot of hidden shortcuts too so try holding it down and hitting all the keys on your keyboard ;)

enjoy those things you geek
